About this line
The CDX is a Custom Division model designed by Sergey Shirogorov for the tenth anniversary of the Custom Division, announced on 2024-06-07 and first offered by lottery at Blade Show Atlanta in June 2024; the X is the Roman numeral ten. It is based on Sergey's custom F7 and inherits its lines. The blade has a through fuller of complex shape, satin flats, stonewashed bevels and false edge, and coarse jimping on the spine. The tumbled and anodized titanium handle carries a texture of lines in different directions, lengths and widths, with three elongated cutouts in the front scale and two in the back; the clip repeats two smaller cutouts. The pivot screw is the latest Custom Division generation with jimping, and CDX is inscribed on the frame near the lock cutout. The wide anodized backspacer has gear-like jimping and carries the workshop logo at its rear, where it forms the outer edge of the lanyard hole. The run is 100 pieces rather than the 30 of early Custom Division models or the 50 of recent years, sold through show lotteries in Russia and the United States and draws on the factory site, and is not repeated once complete.
