About this line

The Russian Lochsa is the first collaboration with Scott Cook, announced in May 2021 and released by lottery on 2 November 2024, based on his Lochsa. It is the factory's first integral: the handle is machined from a single piece of titanium rather than two scales, so there is a pivot screw but no handle screw and no backspacer. The pocket clip attaches with a hidden screw, and on the presentation side the pivot screw is concealed under inlays shaped like bolsters. Where Cook's Lochsa opens on a thumb stud, the Russian Lochsa is a flipper. The blade has satin flats and stonewashed primary bevels. The pivot runs on a bushing with bronze washers rather than the roller bearings usual on the factory's projects with Western makers. The run was 100 pieces, split between lotteries in Russia and North America.
