About this line

Bio is a Dmitry Sinkevich collaboration that the factory announced on 5 November 2022, the project after the Kami Flipper, released through Recon1 lotteries in a run of 300 split evenly into Light and Dark configurations of 150 each. The name comes from biodesign; Sinkevich drew on lines and forms found in nature. The titanium scales are deeply milled with a pattern that is fine around the pivot and grows larger toward the rear, and the pivot head is shaped after a flower pistil. The blade has high flat bevels and a swedge whose shape suggests a Persian profile without being one, with stonewash on the bevels and swedge and satin on the flats. The scales are joined by only two screws, the pivot and a through screw that also holds the clip. In the Light configuration the handle is unanodized and the screws, clip and backspacer are anodized dark gray; the Dark configuration reverses this. Bio Dark is a different knife from the 2010 Dark.
