What to check on an F95, in the order a buyer can check it. The box and the certificate carry the serial. Most F95s have no engraved serial; the original box and the certificate of authenticity (COA) are the record. A serial F95 without them is a knife you're buying on the physical checks alone.

The Custom Division runs a single row of rollers, the SRRBS, on Custom Division F95s from 2014. The double-row rollers, the DRRBS, belong to Sergey Shirogorov's full customs and a few early Custom Division pieces such as the Hati 3D Seashell and the F95 3D Silk; the multi-row MRRBS stays on the full customs.

Before the F95 settled into serial production the catalog was a short list of small runs. The Seasons, one of the earliest production models: a 100 mm S90V blade, a titanium handle, a frame lock and a ball-bearing pivot, ten pieces, with a related SeasonsV project of three author's knives and two prototypes.

An inlaid configuration: scales with inlays set into the titanium frame, in TechnoCarbo, carbon fiber weaves, colored G10, Micarta on the May 2023 F95NL, and occasionally copper-infused carbon fiber. NL configurations exist on the F95 and on the NeOn, where the first arrived in April 2020.

The F3 is the workshop's liner lock: the F95's 95 mm drop point on full titanium liners under scales, with a backspacer on every model, in production since 2011. It was the entry serial model from its arrival; since the Q95 Ursus and F95 Ursus it is the next step up on the ladder in Choosing your first Shirogorov.
