Overview
The Shirogorov Stellar is a 90 mm flipper designed by Sergey Shirogorov and the first folder the workshop has offered at that blade length on a regular basis. The factory places it between the 85 mm NeOn and the 95 mm models (F95, Hati, F3 and Quantum). The serial knife carries a stonewashed M390 blade and a gray titanium handle on MRBS with the CPS anti-rotation system, and the lock is a liner lock with an apron: a small lip on the liner that keeps dirt out of the space between the liner and the scale.
The line began as a Sergey Shirogorov full custom: the first prototypes were finished in late 2019, and the Stellar was introduced at the Tactical Knife Invitational (TKI) in Nashville in 2020. It was the workshop’s first flipper designed around a 90 mm blade. An early Sprint Run followed in 2021, and the line reached serial production in 2023. It has since grown into a small family: the titanium serial Stellar, the carbon fiber Stellar CF, the Stellar BearPattern with its milled bear motif, a Custom Division run, a Sinkevich Touch edition, and two Custom Division sub-lines on the same platform, the Stellaris and the Stellar-B.

Variants
Stellar (serial)
Released 2023-10-14. Blade 90 mm in M390, 3.5 mm at the spine, stonewashed, with a long false edge and a full flat grind. Handle 118 mm and 12 mm thick, overall length 210 mm, weight 120 g. The scales are gray titanium, flat in the center with two kinds of milled texture around the perimeter and weight-relief pockets inside. MRBS on hardened steel washers with the CPS pivot screw. Liner lock with an apron; the screws that hold the liner sit under the clip. The titanium clip mounts on a hidden screw, and the titanium backspacer has wide jimping and closes over the blade tip.
Stellar CF
First Production announced 2025-11-29 and released 2025-12-06, serial from 2026-01-16. The carbon fiber version keeps the 90 mm M390 blade but thins it to 3 mm, and the knife weighs 90 g. Handle length is unchanged at 118 mm; handle thickness is 12.5 mm. The construction is revised so that both scales and the clip mount to the liner. Backspacer and clip are stonewashed titanium, with wide jimping on the backspacer and fine longitudinal texture on the clip. MRBS, CPS pivot screw, liner lock with an apron.
Stellar BearPattern
Released 2026-05-13. A titanium Stellar with the BearPattern motif, an arrangement of small bears shaped like the workshop logo, milled into both scales under a random satin finish, with chamfers and two kinds of milling along the edges. The blade follows the CF at 3 mm and carries two wide reliefs on the flats. A narrower backspacer brings handle thickness to 11.5 mm; weight is 115 g. M390, MRBS with CPS, liner lock with an apron.
Stellar Sinkevich Touch
Sold at CCKS Fall 2023 in a run of 50 as a set with the Ambi-Tool and a Cova leather pouch. M390, 90 mm, stonewashed, MRBS, liner lock with an apron, on bronze anodized scales with textured milling. Touch describes the finishing rather than the design: the knife is the workshop’s own Stellar with Sinkevich hardware, anodizing and engraving. The sets are covered on the Touch collection page.
Stellar CD
A Custom Division run of 50 from October 2021. Blade 90 mm in M398, 3.5 mm thick, on an anodized titanium handle. The pivot is SRRBS, the single-row roller bearing system, in place of the serial knife’s MRBS. Liner lock with an apron.
Stellaris
A Custom Division sub-line on the Stellar platform, designed by Sergey Shirogorov. Its one release, the Stellaris CD of June 2022, runs to 50 pieces. Blade 90 mm in Damasteel Björkmans Twist, 3 mm thick. The handle scales are CarboTi, deeply milled inside to save weight, with a 3D-machined zirconium backspacer and a tip-up zirconium clip on a hidden screw. The pivot is SRRBS with the PLDS (Pivot Load Distribution System), under zirconium pivot screws and bead-blasted titanium collars. Unlike the other Stellars, it is a frame lock, with an inset lock bar milled inside and a steel insert.
Stellar-B
A Custom Division sub-line on the Stellar platform, designed by Sergey Shirogorov. Its one release, the Stellar-B CD of 2025, adds bolsters to an anodized titanium handle and runs to 100 pieces. Blade 90 mm in S90V, 4.0 mm thick, on SRRBS, with a liner lock with an apron. The Stellar-B CD took the Investor/Collector Knife of the Year award at Blade Show Atlanta in June 2025.
Authentication
The serial is recorded on the box and the certificate for most pieces; Custom Division pieces carry their markings inside, on the scales and/or the backspacer. The authentication guide has the per-tier checklist. On the Stellar BearPattern the workshop logo is engraved on the largest bear of the milled pattern at the bottom of the handle. A Stellar Sinkevich Touch is complete only with its Ambi-Tool and pouch, the parts most often missing on the secondary market.
Pricing and collecting
Prices are in the price record; the questions a buyer asks before paying are on the Buying FAQ. The three serial versions remain available from the factory, while the Custom Division runs, the Touch set and the two sub-lines are limited editions of 50 to 100 pieces. The tier ladder explains where each of those releases sits.
